Azerbaijan is a generally pleasant Southwest Asian country with borders to Iran in the South, Armenia to the West, Georgia to the Northwest and Russia to the North, as well as an Eastern coastline on the Caspian Sea. The exclave of Nagorno-Karabakh shares borders with Armenia, Turkey and Iran.
